"Microbes 4 Climate" is the title of the 11th symposium of the former LOEWE centre SYNMIRKO on 22.5.24 in Marburg

Microbes are such small creatures that they cannot be recognised with the naked eye. They are everywhere in our environment and also populate the human body. But what can these creatures contribute to controlling and mitigating climate change?

This is the topic of the 11th symposium of the former LOEWE Centre SYNMIKRO entitled "Microbes 4 Climate - From Greenhouse Gases to Products", on 22 May 2024 at the Cineplex Marburg.
The conference is being organised by Philipps-Universität Marburg and the Centre for Synthetic Microbiology in cooperation with the Max Planck Institute for Terrestrial Microbiology Marburg. Renowned international scientists have been invited to give lectures as part of the programme. This will be followed by a public lecture by YouTuber Jacob Beautemps (brekainglab). Participation in the event is free of charge, but registration is required.
