Honoured: LOEWE-WhiteBox spokesperson Prof Kristian Kersting appointed AAAI Fellow

LOEWE WhiteBox speaker and Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the TU Darmstadt Kristian Kersting has been named a Fellow by the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) for his contributions to the field of artificial intelligence (AI).

Kersting was honoured for his significant and lasting contributions to the foundations and applications of statistical relational AI and neurosymbolic learning. In addition to Kersting, many founding fathers of AI John McCarthy, Herbert Simon and Marvin Minsky as well as Turing Awardees such as Leslie Valiant and Yoshua Bengio have been named AAAI Fellows.
