Presenting complex interrelationships in a visually appealing and easily understandable way is a skill that is becoming increasingly important, especially in science communication. At first glance, many scientific fields appear complex and not really comprehensible to the public. However, this is essential in order to further strengthen society's trust in science. The LOEWE Centre Frankfurt Cancer Institute (FCI), together with the LOEWE projects TBG and ACLF-I, is therefore offering the workshop "Effective Visual Communication of Science" by Dr Jernej Zupanc for scientists on 22 March 2024. The workshop will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Lecture Hall in the Georg-Speyer-Haus in Frankfurt am Main. For better planning and organisation, please register via schmitz@fci.health.

The aim of the workshop is to provide the participating scientists with the appropriate "tools" to communicate their research ideas and results in a visually understandable way for everyone. It is not primarily about aesthetics, but rather about utilising the knowledge of human visual perception to create effective scientific images, posters and graphics step by step.
