A day full of impressions, exchanges and new insights: The ProLOEWE meeting on April 3, 2025 at ACLF-I in Frankfurt
This year, the ProLOEWE network was hosted by ACLF-I and gave participants fascinating insights into the various areas of the University Hospital Frankfurt. Highlights of the day were the inspiring presentations by the hosts, Prof. Christoph Welsch, Cristina Ortiz and Prof. Peter Wild, as well as an exciting tour of the building of the “Dr. Senckenberg Institute of Pathology”, led by Prof. Peter Wild and his colleague Julia Bein.
The lunch break was followed by an informative exchange with Dr. Werner Nickel and Vanessa Bueß from the LOEWE office, who had come all the way from Wiesbaden. The focus was on getting to know each other personally as well as questions about facts, figures and developments in the LOEWE program. The participants also had the opportunity to discuss suggestions and ideas from the LOEWE projects.
Another highlight of the day was a challenging workshop on the art of communication, moderated by Michael Gordian, which inspired the participants to get actively involved.
The eventful day was crowned by a joint dinner, which was also attended by alumni from previous LOEWE projects. The additional perspective of the alumni made the evening particularly enriching.
