Finally: With spring comes the first issue of ProLOEWE-NEWS 2026. This issue features the Frankfurt Cancer Conference, which takes place from September 2nd to 4th under the chairmanship of LOEWE-FCI. What role do phages, proteins, and RNA play in modern anti-pathogen research? This is the question explored by various LOEWE projects and ProLOEWE on the MS Wissenschaft, which will be traveling on rivers and canals throughout Germany from May to October, focusing on the theme of "Medicine of the Future." Also included is a new podcast from the LOEWE Center DYNAMIC, "Vernetzt denken, vernetzt behandeln", which will explore the topic of mental health from a fresh perspective with guest speakers, among many other topics.

Furthermore, there's a ProLOEWE-faces with Professor Andreas Gattinger, who, throughout his career, has learned that thinking globally and learning from one another are essential values.
