Hot off the press: The first ProLOEWE-NEWS 2025 not only takes you into the laboratory, but also into the forest and to many other exciting places where science is done!

The first ProLOEWE-NEWS of the year has arrived and this issue also features a variety of current topics from the LOEWE research projects:
LOEWE-TREE-M takes readers into the forest, where the project's scientists find something they need for their research in the Quercus robur canopy. Under the headline “How my LOEWE research group is trying to whet the appetite of phagocytes for cancer cells”, Mèlanie Tichet gives an insight into her work at LOEWE-FCI. The researchers at the LOEWE center DYNAMIC, on the other hand, take a look back at a two-day retreat in January of this year, which focused on the innovative application of artificial intelligence and machine learning in the treatment of mental illness.
Prof. Franziska Matthäus, spokesperson of the LOEWE research project CMMS, which expired in December 2024, is this time a guest at ProLOEWE-Faces and reports on the research of her project and the importance of the Hessian LOEWE funding program.
