LOEWE-DYNAMIC launches the science podcast "Vernetzt Denken, Vernetzt Behandeln" – the first episode today is an interview with Dr. Max Berg

What are researchers in the field of mental health currently working on? How can mental illnesses be understood and treated more individually, and what changes are resulting in our understanding of mental illnesses and effective treatment methods? These are just some of the questions that the new format of the LOEWE Center DYNAMIC, a science podcast moderated by Alexander Henß, will address starting from November 3, 2025.
In the first episode of the podcast “Vernetzt Denken, Vernetzt Behandeln” today, Alexander Henß talks with Dr. Max Berg from the Philipps University of Marburg about the topic of brooding – why we do it, what it does to us and how we can deal with it better.
The podcast provides direct insights into current research approaches and developments at the interface of psychology, psychiatry, neurobiology and computer science.
In each episode, scientists from the LOEWE Center DYNAMIC have their say: They talk about their current research topics – the potential of these topics, but also about the obstacles on the way to a new, networked understanding of mental illnesses.
This podcast is for anyone interested in current research approaches and innovative treatment concepts – whether you're a professional or a layperson.
