For the 150th anniversary of the Department of Geography in Marburg, visitors embarked on a Mars mission with LOEWE-HABITAT in the ProLOEWE Escape Room!
The ProLOEWE Mars Mission demonstrated just how exciting science can be during the anniversary celebration of the Department of Geography at Philipps-Universität Marburg. Through its "escape room" experience, the LOEWE Research Cluster HaABITAT invited participants to join forces and "save the world from destruction."
To avert an impending catastrophe, participants had to solve puzzles, decipher clues, and grasp – as well as apply – scientific concepts. Teamwork, communication, and creativity were essential to the task.
For visitors, the ProLOEWE Escape Room offered a unique opportunity to experience research firsthand and discover the diverse nature of science.
In this way, the Mars Mission – organized by ProLOEWE and the LOEWE Research Cluster HaABITAT – became a genuine highlight of the anniversary celebration, offering an experience that brought science within literal reach.
