Preparing for a crisis - LOEWE-emergenCITY presents the new serious game Krisopolis at the Open eHUB Day on June 13, starting at 11 a.m.
The LOEWE Center emergenCITY's smart home and living lab will open its doors on June 13, 2024. All interested parties are invited to get to know the scientists' pioneering projects. These include rescue robots, sensor boxes and drones as well as an interactive highlight: the Krisopolis serious game developed by students. Even before the game is released, it can be tested at the Open eHUB Day. Various crisis scenarios are simulated in the game, which the player then has to overcome digitally. The aim is to teach crisis prevention measures in an entertaining way.
Participants of the Open eHUB Day can expect the following program:
11.00 - 11.30 a.m.: Welcome
11.30 - 12.20: Presentation of the missions eHUB, Knowledge Base, Digital Heinerblock, Smart Digital Situation Control Center, Aerial Crisis Networks
12.20 - 16.00: Exhibition of the demonstrators
The Open eHUB Day will take place at the Lichtwiese campus of the Technical University of Darmstadt. Registration at office@emergencity.de by June 6, 2024 is desirable.
