The LOEWE Cluster CMMS (Multiscale Modelling in the Life Sciences) is once again organising the "CMMS Talks" lecture series in the summer semester 2024. External speakers will contribute their own ideas from the international scientific community to the LOEWE focus area CMMS. Every fortnight, speakers present their current research findings to the scientists of the LOEWE focus area. With their contributions, experts in their fields also encourage the CMMS scientists to be even more creative in their research.

From 18 April 2024, the CMMS Talks will take place every second Thursday at 2 pm at the Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies (FIAS), Ruth-Moufang-Str. 1, Frankfurt am Main.

Professor Dr Kevin Thurley from the University of Bonn will kick things off. He will give a lecture entitled "Towards data-driven modeling of immune-cell interaction dynamics", in which Thurley will report on his work with a simulation model for investigating intercellular signalling proteins, so-called cytokines.

The kick-off event will take place in the FIAS Faculty Club.

Registration is not necessary.
